Karina has had overall operational and strategic management responsibility for learning and development and has been accountable for raising quality standards in line with strategic plans in several industries. Her background also includes working within the Education sector, giving her a solid foundation in establishing and developing processes and programmes to achieve specific learning outcomes for staff and students, with successful budgetary management of up to £5m per annum.
Karina has worked with a global management consultancy specialising in DEI, where the main focus is creating cultures of equality and inclusion in workplaces that value difference. Karina has focused on designing and delivering programmes, successfully contributed to global DEI strategies and worked with ExCo Leadership Teams and Human Resource personnel to build internal strategic plans which help introduce, implement and embed DEI learning, ultimately building better organisations.
Karina’s experience includes working with a diverse range of clients within the industries of design and technology, financial services, gas and oil, building and construction, learning technology and communications infrastructure and educational institutions.
Karina’s most notable successes are:
• Leveraging her own network to establish an American Football academy in partnership with the NFL – the only known elite student-athlete programme for the NFL across the globe;
• Created bespoke leadership development programmes for large global corporate companies to build inclusive workplaces;
• Built strong partnerships and stakeholder relationships with high-profile organisations to develop world-class academic and learning programmes;
• Developed a comprehensive 5-year strategy and road map development for an exclusive LMS and community network to assist and scale training to support workplaces in building inclusive cultures.
