DELIVERY OF INCLUSION SOLUTIONS

Another shout out, this time for Mahogany Inclusion Partners, and specifically Aggie Mutuma,. Over the past few months, Aggie has worked with LR leaders to amplify Black voices and help navigate sensitive conversations. She's been on Zoom, phone and email for those "can you help with...?" ... "can I ask your advice on...?" ... "what do you think about...?" conversations, and is my go-to sounding board for trusted advice on all things inclusion. Our next project together is a three-year D&I plan, and I'm looking forward to working with Aggie for a long time to come!
Rebecca Berry
Head of Culture, Diversity and Inclusion - Lloyd’s Register

Aggie delivered a fantastic webinar for our people on inclusion and diversity, which received excellent feedback and has been working with me to take forward our diversity and inclusion ambitions.
“Aggie has great knowledge and expertise, as well as warmth and a pragmatic approach. This has helped create a relationship of trust in which our senior leaders can learn and our internal strategic I&D group develop progressive actions that will see our diversity and inclusivity continue to grow in the way we are keen to do. We now have much more solid plans in the inclusion and diversity space and will be looking to have Aggie support us further on our evolving journey.”

Aggie is a pleasure to partner with. She brings a practical commercial awareness, an evidence-based approach and a sensitive ability to read the room and offer “compassionate challenge” to those she partners with. Very genuine in her approach, Aggie is able to loosen minds and create safe spaces in which groups can reflect honestly on where they are at in relation to issues, and where they would like to be. Aggie has also supported us to articulate and commit to a strategy to achieve our diversity and inclusion goals, so that our intentions can translate into actions.

In the 5 years that I have worked with Aggie I have found her to be professional, warm, non-judgemental and gently challenging. Aggie’s consistently engaging approach creates a safe environment which allows for vulnerability, deep transparency and for those around her to feel safe, heard and validated. As such, Aggie has supported me as a trusted adviser both professionally and personally through her consistent coaching style which due to her validating and gently challenging style; always makes her a great sounding board.
I would not hesitate to recommend her to deliver any programme that requires strong strategic leadership, an effective coaching style, delivery at pace and a strong values driven approach.

Aggie has encouraged the business to be open and honest about race and inclusion and has approached this in a safe way which has helped us be brave and bold in what we do next. She has never held back when it has come to difficult decisions and will face this head on but manages to avoid any upset on her way.
It’s been great working with Aggie and her guidance, support and tenacity for what she believes in helps you move forward, even when it can feel impossible. She is trusted, has a strong work ethic and I am glad to be working with her, especially during more recently challenging times.

AWARD JUDGING

Aggie has been a member of our judging panel for several years. With her HRD background, she is highly experienced in assessing the approaches of a wide variety of organisations against strict judging criteria and is prompt and efficient at completing her assessments. She always sends very useful written insight for each entry so that our entrants can learn and improve upon their submissions. Aggie has also been a lovely, sociable guest at our awards events and has presented onstage with real personality and warmth.

Aggie’s years of experience as an HR leader in a range of sectors and businesses large and small gives her an in-depth insight of all areas of the people profession, making her a brilliant awards judge. She comes at the task with a commercial mindset but also a good deal of empathy. She is a great addition to any judging panel.
