COVID Launch Case Study: Introducing Mahogany Inclusion Partners

In this interview with Katrina Douglas of The Launch Strategist, Aggie speaks about how three areas of her life led her to found Mahogany Inclusion Partners at a time of major societal shifts towards diversity, equity and inclusion. Launching the business in the midst of the pandemic, Aggie’s work history as people professional had exposed her to numerous cases of employee disconnection – in coaching high level staff and recognising their fears around addressing these topics of exclusion, Aggie began more targeted and focused research in 2019 that would become the bedrock of the solution-building powerhouse that is Mahogany Inclusion Partners. In this interview Aggie recalls how her experiences as a serial entrepreneur have influenced her execution at MIP, delves into the process of commericalising a great idea into a solid offering, and looks at how the offshoot projects Black Leaders and Black Inclusion Week make this not just a commercial endeavour, but a movement.
