Inclusion Big 4 with Christos Tsaprounis
We were delighted to converse with Christos the People and Culture Director at Autotrader, Christos is a progressive leader in the DEI space and responsible for amazing DEI growth and initiatives in Autotrader. We are grateful for Christos taking out time to share his thoughts on the inclusion big 4 with us.
1. What do you think is the biggest challenge organizations are facing when it comes to diversity, equity, and inclusion right now?
I think that the biggest challenge organizations are facing today is achieving sustainable and meaningful change when creating inclusive work environments and company culture. We need to measure the impact of all our DEI initiatives, evaluate efforts, and keep striving for more.
2. Why do you think diversity, equity, and inclusion are important?
For me the business case for DEI is simple, it is one of the key factors that make organizations successful and also benefits the wider communities a business operates in. We need to move away from thinking that the two are mutually exclusive and start thinking of how we can achieve both.
3. What advice would you give to someone who is struggling to make the right change in their organization right now?
Find out why and engage with as many people as possible. The people in your business are likely to have the answer to the why and also be able to not only recommend the solution but also to be involved in making things happen and bring the right change.
4. What do you love about what you do?
Seeing the impact that we are having on people’s working lives is one of the most rewarding elements of my job. Sometimes that might be a significant organizational cultural shift and milestone achieved or the feedback from one individual that we have made a difference to.
